Terms of Service
The agreement that governs your use of Magicite add-ons for Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations.
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern access to and use of the Magicite add-ons and this website. By signing in, starting a trial, or placing an order, you agree to these Terms on behalf of your organization.
Subscriptions
- One subscription covers one production instance. A subscription entitles you to run the add-on in a single production Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations instance for the subscription term.
- Annual term, invoiced. Subscriptions are billed yearly. Billing is manual, by purchase order or wire transfer, with no card processor. A subscription activates in production once payment is received.
- A second production instance needs its own subscription. Each additional production instance requires a separate subscription at the same flat price.
- Non-production is free. Sandbox, UAT, and development environments are not metered and may be used at no charge, with no time limit.
- Renewals. Subscriptions renew for successive one-year terms unless either party cancels before the renewal date. Cancelling stops the next renewal; it does not refund the current term, and fees already invoiced remain payable. Proposed draft, subject to confirmation by legal counsel.
Trials & free evaluation
- Non-production use is free and unlimited. You may install and run any add-on in non-production environments (sandbox, UAT, development) at no charge and with no time limit, so you can evaluate it fully before you buy.
- Production starts the trial. When an add-on is first detected running in a production instance without an active subscription, a trial period begins. Continued production use requires a paid subscription.
- Provided "as is" for evaluation. Software used for evaluation is made available without warranty and may be changed or withdrawn.
Acceptable use
You agree to use the add-ons only in environments you are authorized to administer and only as licensed. You must not:
- Copy, resell, sublicense, or redistribute the software except as expressly permitted.
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or circumvent license validation or the signed-package model, except to the extent the law expressly permits.
- Run the software in more production instances than you have subscriptions for, or otherwise exceed your entitlement.
- Use the service in any way that is unlawful, infringes others' rights, or disrupts the service or its infrastructure.
Licenses and validation
The add-ons validate their license by contacting our service ("phoning home") and send PII-free operational telemetry, as described in our Privacy Policy and Security overview. Enforcement is intended to be soft (you may receive warnings and a grace period rather than an abrupt hard stop), but a valid, paid subscription is required for production use.
Fees
Fees are the flat published price per production instance, per year, per product, in US dollars, invoiced by purchase order or wire transfer. Taxes, if any, are your responsibility. See the Pricing page for the current price.
Warranty disclaimer

Except as expressly stated, the service and add-ons are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
Limitation of liability
Proposed draft, subject to confirmation by legal counsel. To the maximum extent permitted by law, neither party will be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits or data. Each party's aggregate liability under these Terms will not exceed the fees paid or payable to us for the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
Governing law
Proposed draft, subject to confirmation by legal counsel. These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan, USA, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules, and the state and federal courts located in Michigan have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them. The registered name of the operating entity will be added here once its registration is finalized.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected in the version above and, where required, communicated to you.
